Challenge
The immersive media art market requires convincing global art IP holders and public commissioning bodies at the same time. Technical capability alone does not win contracts.
Approach
For the Frida Kahlo immersive exhibition, Incheon Sangsang Platform K-MOMENTUM, Korean Heritage: Yeobaek, and the DPR immersive exhibition, I performed content planning, proposals, and pitch presentations entirely solo, completing everything from IP world analysis to spatial experience design and pitch storytelling in one voice.
Result
Three KOCCA grants were won in three consecutive months, leading to the Gwanghwamun Sonata exhibition win and global IP partnerships including DPR and YG media art.
Frequently asked questions
What was decisive in winning global IP exhibitions?
Translating an IP's world into an immersive content experience, and the pitching storytelling that sells it. A background in fine art and visual media art bridged the language of art IP and the language of technology.
